چکیده
The removal of heavy metals from water has become a global environmental problem. Various materials have been applied as adsorbent to remove water. In this field, nanomaterials gaining increasing interest due their exceptional properties. work, we discuss the synthesis core-shell structure nanocomposite by modification magnetic chitosan (CS) (Fe3O4/CS) with polyethylenimine (PEI) produce Fe3O4/CS/PEI composite for adsorption arsenic ions (As(V) and As(III)) aqueous solution. synthesized were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscope (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). results indicated successful combination three components nanocomposite. conditions optimized studying effect different parameters included pH, contact time, initial concentration, dosage. optimum pH was found be 6.7 while dosage 2.0 1.5 g/L As(III) As(V), respectively. efficiency uptake As(V) over at 99.5 99.7%, experimental fitted Freundlich’s Langmuir’s isotherms. data more Langmuir isotherm providing suggestion monolayer maximum capacity equal 77.61 86.50 mg/g Moreover, linear regression coefficient (R2) that obeyed pseudo 2nd order suggesting chemisorption process. reusability nanosorbent sodium hydroxide eluent also assessed up five cycles. Interestingly, can considered promising As ions’ should tested other pollutants.

متن کاملMagnetic Hybrid Nanosorbents for the Uptake of Paraquat from Water
Although paraquat has been banned in European countries, this herbicide is still used all over the world, thanks to its low-cost, high-efficiency, and fast action. Because paraquat is highly toxic to humans and animals, there is interest in mitigating the consequences of its use, namely by implementing removal procedures capable of curbing its environmental and health risks. This research descr...
